A new purpose built student accommodation development in central Falmouth.
The scheme provides a mix of student bed typologies with associated amenity spaces.
The site is situated on the doorstep of Falmouth High Street. The local context is an eclectic mix of traditional maritime building vernacular, and as such, the design is intended to compliment Falmouth’s unique context and conservation area in an a contemporary approach.
The design went through an extensive period of development alongside consultation. Challenges with such a design were to accommodate the given numbers of students in a high density scheme, within a town centre and a challenging constrained site.
