Last night ECE Westworks had the pleasure of hosting the launch of ‘CREation Bristol’, a new networking platform for the property industry.
A great evening was had, with guest speakers talking alternatives. What does the future hold for the property market?
Some interesting and enlightening ideas to take on board.

James Hanson of Cushman and Wakefield told us of the strength of the Healthcare sector going forward, thinking about how new technologies may play a part in the shaping of this. Will we be cared for by Robots in old age? What will our surgeries look like with the increasing use of online Drs for diagnosis.
Always great to hear from Nick Rees about The Wave and its ground breaking technology! 1000 waves an hour will make experienced surfers and learners excited. This type of leisure use seems to be an emerging market with ‘staycation’ being a buzz word, could this constitute a good option for others with greenbelt land. You have to check out ‘The Wave’ website https://www.thewave.com/
Mathew Armstrong of JLL explains how student living is still a strong sector. If more second year students can be attracted to Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), especially with better and better amenity space offers (Gym’s, Cinema rooms, social spaces..) this can then free up houses in multiple occupation (HMO’s). Is the next natural progression to explore Co-Living opportunities?
Thank you to the CREation team for allowing ECE Westworks to host this event. Very much looking forward to more from ‘CREation Bristol’.
